House of Charity will construct a new building with:
• 55 units of permanent supportive housing for people experiencing long-term homelessness.
• An outpatient addiction and mental health treatment facility capable of serving up to 100 people at a time.
• A new Food Centre with a dramatically improved kitchen and dining room area.
• Administrative offices with private meeting rooms for working with clients and conference/classroom space.
Their new new building, combined with the renovation of their current housing at 510 South Eight Street, will help serve more people more effectively, ensuring a greater positive impact on homelessness in the downtown area—one that is sustainable and far-reaching.
