• 3rd Avenue South Redesign

Third Avenue South in downtown Minneapolis is being redesigned. When completed, the street will include protected bicycle lanes from the Convention Center to the Mississippi River. In addition to this new north-south bike connection through Downtown, the project will add greenery and make other improvements along the street. Construction is taking place during 2016 with the bike lanes being substantially completed, and ends in 2017 with plantings and new pavement markings for the protected bikeway.
